Greco-Baktrian Kingdom, Pantaleon CU-NI Double Unit. Circa 185-180 BC. Wreathed head of Dionysos right, with thyrsus over left shoulder / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΑΝΤΑΛΕΟΝΤ[ΟΣ], panther standing right, with raised forepaw; ΦI to left. SNG ANS 262 (same dies). 7.72g, 25mm, 11h.

Near Very Fine; flan crack, heavily toned. Extremely Rare.

Pantaleon's reign, usually dated to circa 185-180 BC, was contemporary to Agathokles, though must have ended before that of his co-ruler as commemorative issues for Pantaleon are known in the name of Agathokles.
