Anonymous Æ Quadrans. Second Punic War issue. Uncertain Sardinian, Sicilian, or non-Roman Italian mint, after 211 BC. Head of Hercules right, wearing lion skin headdress; three pellets (mark of value) to left / Prow right; ROMA above, three pellets (mark of value) below. Cf. Crawford 56/5 and 339/4a. 6.34g, 21mm, 6h.

Extremely Fine; in superb condition for a bronze of this period.
