Republic, 8 reales, Real de Catorce mint, 1863 ML, variety with the mintmark Ce over Pi, assayer's initials ML (DP-Ce01 var.), mint state and well toned, rare thus. Struck from an altered die different to that illustrated by Dunigan and Parker. The C of Ce is clearly over P but the L of ML may not be over C.
