Richard I (1189-1199), Penny, class IVb, Shrewsbury, Ive, +iv [-]op+iv [-]op, five widely-spaced pearls on crown, 1.44g/3h (SCBI Mass 1140; N 968/2; S 1348C). Good very fine and rare but oddly double-struck, two sceptres clearly visible on obverse and a section of legend duplicated on reverse £150-£200
