A choice Harappan jar from the Indus Valley, ca. 2500 - 1800 B.C. This elegant vessel is 2-7/8? high and is decorated with a register of Ibex, set off with bands of geometric and linear designs. The flared neck features a woven design pattern. In excellent condition, with strong paint, red highlights and good mineral deposits. Value range: $200 - $300.
