A choice Harappan vessel from the Indus Valley, ca. 2500 - 1800 B.C. This fine jar is 3-1/4? in diameter and is decorated with a pair of tigers, separated by plants and surrounded by various symbols. Good paint, red highlights and strong mineral deposits. Value range: $200 - $300.
