GREECE: 20 Drachmas (18.12.1944) Provisional Treasury Note, issued in Kerkyra. Black ovpt on back of 50 Drachmas (ND 1941) (Pick M14). S/N: 20615. After liberation, the boat carrying fresh notes to Corfu sank and it was authorised to overprint italian occupation notes until new notes arrive. Inside plastic holder by PMG "Very Fine 25". (Pick 153) & (Stratoudakis - Pitidis 431).
