TROAS, Lamponeia. Late 5th-early 4th centuries BC. AR Drachm (15.5mm, 3.06 g, 12h). Bearded head right, wearing tainia / Head of bull facing within incuse square. Cf. SNG Arikantürk 633–5 (obols); SNG Ashmolean –; SNG von Aulock –; cf. SNG Copenhagen 444 (obol); SNG München –; BMC 1. Toned, some porosity, light marks, edge splits. VF. Very rare as a drachm, one of only five in CoinArchives; missing from most published collections.
