ARABIA, Bostra. Herennius Etruscus and Hostilian. As Caesars, AD 250-251. Æ (24.5mm, 10.04 g, 6h). Confronted busts of Etruscus right, laureate, draped, and cuirassed, and Hostilian left, radiate, draped, and cuirassed / Baetyls of Dusares: large baetyl between two small baetyls on raised platform, steps leading up to platform; the large baetyl is surmounted by a number of flat stones, while the two smaller ones are surmounted by a single stone; all within wreath. Spijkerman 72; Kindler 55; RPC IX 2212. Dark brown patina with thick earthen highlights/deposits, edge irregularity. Good Fine.
