Watch List notes:

Bank of England 5 Pounds London branch White notes (3) in mid grades Fine - VF comprising a Scarcer Sir Ernest Harvey CBE 5 Pounds B209a dated 3rd February 1922 serial number C/69 94593, and interestingly during Sir Harvey's period in office during World War I inflation caused a higher demand for banknotes of which London branch £5 seemed to be readily available. Along with a Peppiatt B255 dated 29th September 1945 only weeks after the official end of World War II serial number K38 014511. And a Beale B270 dated 22nd September 1950 serial number S64 027440 and this with a small tape repair on lower centre reverse
