China Canton Municipal Bank 50 Cents Pick S2255 dated 1st May 1928 Canton serial number A 0007396. The note in green on light brown underprint with red seals at lower centre and Coat of Arms on an elaborate guilloche panel on obverse and the reverse in English and all in brown featuring value at each corner, Banks name across top and a portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-sen - first president of the Republic of China and the first leader of the Kuomintang. In a PMG holder and graded Very Fine 25 Rust and an Exceptionally Scarce note this being the only one recorded example in the PMG Population Report at the time of writing, listed without any price reference in the current SCWPM. This note is almost certain to be missing from even the most comprehensive collections therefore this being a unique opportunity to acquire it
