A Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. print in red on multicoloured underprint with the obverse featuring an Allegorical woman with books at left and the Bank's Coat of Arms incorporating the UK Royal Coat of Arms. The reverse displaying an illustration of the Old HSBC Bank building. Watermarked with a helmeted warrior and denomination below. A very Rare and desirable early large size issue in VF with very Minor Rust and a small repair but an attractive and seldom seen note being the second highest denomination for the series
