India Reserve Bank 10 Rupees King George VI portrait in profile Pick 19a ND 1937 issues bearing the signature Taylor (2) including a very first prefix serial number A/55 395914 with 2 hand stamps on reverse one of which from the Imperial Tobacco Company of India along with B/35 039239. Both notes in blue-violet and olive featuring a portrait of King George VI in profile at right and a banana palm tree and sea side scene in the underprint on obverse. The reverse mainly in blue depicting the Reserve Bank of India Coat of Arms at centre - Palm tree and the endangered Bengal tiger, surrounded by elephant riders/trainers also known as Mahout riding elephants. The first good Fine - about VF, the second VF. Both with the usual Pinholes/Spindle hole, very Scarce first date earlier issues and rarely seen
