Scotland The Clydesdale Bank Limited Fourth issue 5 Pounds Pick 189 (PMS CL20d, BY SC305d) wartime dated 15th May 1940 in small sans serif capitals serial number X2/H 0003371 bearing the signatures Andrew Mitchell titled General Manager and Robert Young titled Accountant & Cashier. The note in blue and red with the obverse featuring an ornate panel at left with thistles and the Bank's monogram in cursive along with the City of Glasgow's 'Let Glasgow Flourish' Coat of Arms at upper centre.
