In exergue below: EMBODIED MDCCXCVIII in two lines, in the basic style of a Bank of England Dollar of the period, VF toned, on close examination the flan has many straight lines to the edge, a most unusual piece and will appeal to collectors of engraved coin and collectors of Bank of England memorabilia alike
