Halfpenny 1729 Peck 830 UNC evenly struck and a super example of the Young Head portrait type, slabbed in an LCGS holder and graded LCGS 78, formerly part of the Andrew Wayne Collection, sold in London Coins Auction A113 5/6/2006 (Lot 980), this is one of the very early submissions to LCGS (UIN 0000030) and after a further 43,000 coins have been graded, is still the finest recorded example, thus proving the rarity of these early copper pieces.
