Generally a relatively pleasant looking set. On inspection: •4d: evenly toned near EF with luster in legends, choice. •3d: near EF, less toning, some luster, small hole at base of bust. •2d: near VF, light toning, some iridescence. •1d: evenly worn obverse, VG or a bit better (reverse better), tiny hole at 12 obverse.

George I had no use for the Maundy ceremony. The Mint produced sets in 1723 and 1727 only. For that matter, George I cared little for small change generally. His reign is one of the more challenging milled silver coinage reigns to represent well.
