Diademed and draped bust of Artemis right, wearing stephane, pendant earring, and pearl necklace, her bow and quiver over shoulder / Lion prowling left, with open jaws and raised forepaw; MAΣΣA above, Γ in exergue. De la Tour 1098. Depeyrot, Marseille 44/4. Good Very Fine; beautiful old toning; some flatness in strike on high points but overall bold, well centered and attractive. Unusual lovely style.
