REI MONET: PRÆF / Truth introduces Conduitt, both advancing right, to Richard Hampden (Chancellor of the Exchequer), holding staff with cap of liberty, and Isaac Newton, seated and leaning on diagram of the solar system; MEMORES FECERE MERENDO around, M.DCC.XXXVII in exergue. Eimer 538. MI ii 518/73. Extremely Fine; short flan split at 6'.

John Conduitt (1688-1737) succeeded Isaac Newton as Master of the Royal Mint. He also married Isaac Newton's niece, and lived together with his wife, daughter, and Newton until Newton's death in 1727.
