Elagabalus. AD 218-222. AR Denarius (19mm, no weight given g, 5h). Rome mint. Struck AD 222. Laureate and draped bust right, wearing beard / Elagabalus standing left, holding patera over altar and club; recumbent bull behind altar, star to left. RIC IV 88; Thirion 254; RSC 61b. Lightly toned, hairlines, some green deposits on reverse. In NGC encapsulation, 4238772-194, graded AU.
