India, Kausambi city state (Vatsa). Ca. 2nd century B.C. Æ coin (12 mm, 1.41 g). Bull advancing left; 4-armed Ujjain symbol above / Wheel (chakra) in centre, with Brahmi legend Kosabiya arranged clockwise around. Pieper 978. Very rare and choice.

Kausambi coins with the city's name are hard to find. This specimen has the complete name Kosabiya visible.
