India, Kushan Empire. Vima Kadphises. Ca. A.D. 105-127. Æ tetradrachm (27 mm, 16.58 g). King standing, head left, sacrificing over altar and holding club; Greek legend around / 4-armed Oesho (Shiva) standing facing with Nandi bull right; beed and reel border around. MACW 3006; Gobl 760. Very rare.

This monolingual type was Vima's earliest issue. It featured a beed and reel border on the reverse, and was replaced by the bilingual type, with a Kharoshthi legend, later in Vima's reign.
