Pontic Kingdom. Mithradates VI. 120-63 B.C. AR tetradrachm (31 mm, 15.81 g, 12 h). Odessos, in the name and types of Alexander III, ca. 80-72/1 B.C. Head of Herakles right, with the features of Mithradates VI, wearing lion's skin headdress / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus seated left, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, ΛΑΚΩ; in exergue, ΟΔΗ. Callataÿ grp. 3; Topalov 80; Price 1193. Lightly toned with some PVC residue (can be easily removed). Very fine.
