ATTICA. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.24 g, 3 h), early 430s. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet with palmette and three olive leaves. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon. HGC 4, 1597. Kroll 8. Fully lustrous, bright and clear; with the whole crest on the flan. Extremely fine.
