IONIA. Miletos. Late 6th-early 5th century BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 1.16 g). Forepart of lion to right, head turned back to left. Rev. Star-shaped floral ornament within incuse square. Klein 424. SNG Kayhan 476-82. SNG Keckman 273. SNG von Aulock 2080. Well-struck, with a clear and ferocious lion. Extremely fine.
