PHRYGIA. Gordium. 2nd-1st century BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.64 g, 12 h). Jugate, draped busts of Artemis and Apollo to right, both laureate; over Artemis's shoulder, quiver. Rev. ΓOΡΔI - ANΩN Bow and quiver. H. P. Borrell, "Unedited Greek Coins", NC 1845-1846, p. 27 = Paris AA.GR.10254. Very rare. Clear and attractive. Slightly rough surfaces, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
