KINGS OF PARTHIA. Artabanos III, circa 126-122 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28.5 mm, 16.15 g, 2 h), Seleukeia on-the-Tigris. Diademed and bearded bust of Artabanos to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΡΣΑΚΟY Demeter, seated left on a throne supported by a winged Tritoness, holding cornucopia with her left hand, and being crowned by Nike, whom she holds in her right hand; outer left, horse's head left; in the exergue, two monograms. PDC 5655. Sellwood 21.4 var (no head of horse). Sunrise 275 var. Well-centered and nicely toned. Flan fault on the edge, otherwise, good very fine.
