LUCANIA. Velia. Circa 465-440 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.85 g, 7 h), dies prepared by the "E master". Head of a nymph to right, with curly hair confined by a band. Rev. ΥΕΛΗ Owl standing right on olive twig. HN III 1265. Williams 118 (O78/R88). Slightly rough surfaces and struck on an irregular flan, otherwise, very fine.
