James I (1603-25), Quarter Laurel, third coinage, 2.31g, 6h, m.m. lis, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shield over cross fourchée (Schneider II, 98; N.2118; S.2642), softly struck in parts, and with a faint striking split at11 o'clock, otherwise toned, very fine.
