Charles I (1625-49), Halfcrown, group 3 (type 6), York mint, 14.92g, 12h, m.m. lion, king on horseback left, no ground line, ebor below, rev. crowned oval garnished shield dividing crowned c-r, sprig of flowers either side of avspice (Brooker 1082; N.2314; S.2868), dark tone both sides, scratch on obverse and hw graffiti to left of crown on reverse, very fine.
