Mudie, laureate head right, initials below, rev. crowned shields cruciform, emblems between, mills fecit, edge plain (L&S 214; ESC 2055 [221]), rim smoothed at reverse 12 o'clock where evidently removed from mount, otherwise toned with residual brilliance, a bolder extremely fine, scarce.
