Prince George, Duke of Cumberland, Visit to the Royal Mint Medal, 17 May 1828, in silver, by W Wyon, the obverse struck from the 1825 Pattern Crown die, rev. prince george of cumberland visited the mint the xvii day of may mdcccxxviii in seven lines, 37.8mm., 27.53g (BHM 1320 [R4]), rim bruising and scattered surface marks, with otherwise faint residual brilliance, very fine, extremely rare.
An example is present in the British Museum collection, and a preparatory uniface striking in copper is to be found in the Royal Mint collection
