GOLDEN HORDE: Tole Buqa (1287-1291), silver dirham (1.65g), Qrim (Crimea) mint, AH 686. Obverse ruler's tamgha within hexagram, reverse "tole bugha darb qrim 686" ("Tole Buqa, mint of Qrim, 686"). A-2022.2 (RR), Wilkes-2023 (VF estimated at $150). Very fine. Rare.

Qrim is Arabic for Crimea, a peninsula in the Black Sea that is recognized today as part of Ukraine. A similar specimen sold recently in SARC's Auction 32 for $118.
