ALMOHAD: Anonymous, silver square dirham (1.52g), AH 558-668. Very rare variety with two flowers (floral patterns) in place of mint name. Obverse "la ilaha illallah, al-amru kulluhu lillah, la quwwata illa billah" ("there is no god except Allah, all matter belongs to Allah, there is no power except by Allah"), reverse "Allahu rabbuna, Muhammadun rasuluna, Al-Mahdiyyu imamuna" ("Allah is our lord, Muhammad is our messenger, Al-Mahdi is our imam"). A-496. Very fine. Very rare.
