Fiji Government of Fiji 20 Pounds 1.7.1943 Pick 43cts Color Trial Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. The Fiji 20 Pound banknote is one of the most iconic British Commonwealth issues, as well as one of the rarest of all South Pacific emissions. The enormous face value made it difficult for any of these notes to be saved for posterity. Additionally, very few were issued in the first place, as they were used for only the largest transactions. This beautiful color trial is very similar to the issued example, but on this example the colors have been lightened to extenuate the details around the bust of King George VI. Printer annotations are seen on this otherwise beautiful Specimen. One carefully placed perforated cancellation is noted. Only the second color trial we have offered of this highest denomination type. https://currency.ha.com/itm/world-currency/fiji-government-of-fiji-20-pounds-171943-pick-43cts-color-trial-specimen-pmg-choice-uncirculated-63/a/4021-28190.s?type=CoinArchivesCurrency4021 HID08706262019 © 2019 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
