Mauritius Government of Mauritius 5 Rupees 1.7.1924 Pick 16 PMG About Uncirculated 50 EPQ. This Pick number can be sometimes be found, but usually in low grades with fragile paper. On the contrary, this example is crisp, and completely original, therefore so far superior to the ordinary that the majority of collectors will want to upgrade the placeholder currently in their collection. 1924 dated notes were actually issued intermittently until about 1932, despite later dates also being issued during that time frame. Additionally, 1924 dated notes can be found with either B or C prefixes. At the time of cataloging, there are only four examples graded in the PMG Report with EPQ status, and no examples at all are graded finer than this offered note. Remarkable in this state of preservation and very rare as such.
