New Zealand Reserve Bank of New Zealand 10 Shillings 1.8.1934 Pick 154 PMG About Uncirculated 53. This example is the first 10 Shilling note issued by the newly formed Reserve Bank of New Zealand. On the face King Tawhiao is seen to the right, and to the left one sees the Kiwi, New Zealand's national bird. The entire 1934 issue was fairly short lived, and it is uncommon to find representations from this issue in higher grades.
