Cuba Empresa del Acueductor de Cardenas 3 Pesos ND (1870) Pick S112r Remainder PMG Fine 12 Net. The name of the issuer translates to the Aqueduct Company of Cardenas, located in one of the smaller cities in Cuba. During Cuba's economic history from the Spanish Empire to the Republic, there has always been an official government or central bank, given the size of the economy. There were however small change substitutes, like this example, and there were no Private Bank issues known. It is for that reason why this is the only Pick variety in the Specialized Krause edition.
