Mexico Banco Mercantil Mexicano 20 Pesos ND (1882) Pick S245p1; S245p2 M245p Front And Back Proofs PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ; Choice Uncirculated 64. This short-lived bank was in operation from 1882 until 1884 when it merged with the Banco Nacional de Mexico. A classic ABNCo produced note, this face proof features a vignette of a shepherdess and her sheep to the left and a vignette of an allegorical representation of Navigation to the right. The back is highlighted by an impressive vignette of a Christopher Columbus monument.
