These desirable, seldom-seen types were issued by the Treasury of New Caledonia during the end of World War I. The production run was limited, but these small denominations nevertheless aided commerce while this far-flung colony was unable to receive banknotes from France. Rusty pinholes are seen on the 2 Francs, but nevertheless, both denominations offered here are decent and certainly scarce.
