New Caledonia Banque de l'Indochine 1000 Francs ND (1943); 1944 Pick 45; 47b PMG Very Fine 25; Very Fine 30. A desirable pair of issues for New Caledonia, almost identical save for the date clause on the front under the "Noumea" overprint. These provisional types were issued during World War II, as French banknote printing serves were suspended. Both notes do display minor rust, with one having mount remnants and the other minor repairs. Nevertheless rarely seen in any grade.
