Napoleon III 5 Francs 1855-A MS65+ NGC, Paris mint, KM782.1, Dav-95, Gad-734. Silky and lustrous, this impressive gem reveals the highest level of quality at every turn. Scattered accents of graphite tone decorate the legends and Napoleon's bust, holding hints of cerulean within, while even close inspection yields remarkably little in the way of even smaller signs of contact. An admirable relic of the "second" (nominally the third) Napoleon's Empire, and the finest example of the date certified by NGC.
