Napoleon III 5 Francs 1862-A MS67 NGC, Paris mint, KM803.1, Gad-739, Dav-96. Displaying virtually as-struck condition, an observation that seems to almost defy logic for a coin of its age and type, and with resulting remarkable eye appeal for the issue. Watery in the fields, with a near-perfect dispersion of tone that carries touches of soft blues and sea greens within the legends and caressing the devices. The finest example certified by NGC, and likely to remain so.
