Bavaria. Ludwig I "Loyalty" Taler 1830 MS65 NGC, Munich mint, KM750, Dav-566. A shimmering and carefully preserved gem, struck to commemorate the loyalty shown by the Bavarian people to the royal family. A subtle but clearly discernible cartwheel effect carries across the obverse, in contrast to a more heavily die polished though equally well-kept reverse which shimmers fetchingly, brightening the seated personification of Bavaria.
