Bremen. Free City gold 10 Mark 1907-J MS68 NGC Hamburg mint, KM253, J-204. As perfect as one can imagine, with deep, saffron color that permeates the surfaces completely and mint luster that effortlessly cartwheels in a parade of glowing brilliance. The designs are essentially as struck, showing pinpoint definition up the highest point, with all edges crisp and soaring against the surrounding fields. And, as one would expect at this level, the planchet is without any noted instances of handling. In a certified category all its own, eclipsing its nearest competition by one point, and certainly deserving of a premium bid.
