Saxe-Meiningen. Georg II gold Proof 10 Mark 1914-D PR64 Cameo NGC, Munich mint, KM202, J-280. A treasured issue produced only in tiny mintages, with 1914 being the lowest mintage date of the three-year issue. Proofs of this year are especially desirable, and an example seen with minimal handling and a clear cameo contrast, such as the present one, leaves little to be improved upon. An important issue, struck in the first year of World War One.
