Henry VII (1485-1509) gold Angel ND (1495-1498) UNC Details (Reverse Scratched) NGC, Tower mint, Pansy mm, First coinage, S-2183, N-1696. Incorrect Spink number on holder. Clearly an UNC coin, four short parallel scratches to the reverse the only detraction; this piece is rather noteworthy for its extremely rusted dies giving a firmly matte sheen to the planchet. A scarcer early Angel type.
