George III gold Guinea 1798 MS66 NGC, KM609, S-3729. An exceptional survivor - the single highest graded specimen out of 281 seen by NGC and PCGS combined! This Guinea has managed to survive for 220 years without so much as a modicum of wear or significant contact mark, and has retained intense full luster. Though not a rare type nor year for the issue, to find an example so well-preserved as this is simply unbelievable, and indeed renders this piece (at present) conditionally unique.
