Leopold I gold 5 Ducat 1703/2-NB AU Details (Holed) PCGS, Nagybanya mint (in Transylvania), KM-A257, Fr-134, Husz-1295. 16.69gm. Struck with Taler dies, an ever-popular multiple Ducat type. This example has been very well made and would have been a superlative type specimen were it not for the neat hole at 12 o'clock--this however, being a frequent feature of these oversized multiple ducats. Nevertheless attractive, an issue difficult to obtain in any grade and one sure to find its place in a top-shelf Hungarian collection.
