Charles IV 2 Reales 1796 LM-IJ MS65 PCGS, Lima mint, KM95. Entirely deserving of the gem grade, with impressive mark-free surfaces, sharp detailing throughout the design and radiant mint luster that fully envelopes both sides. The single finest graded example of any Peruvian 2 reales, and the finest we've seen by a mile. We note that this same example previously sold, NGC-certified at the same grade, in our January 3051 Auction, hammering for $3,600.
